something but same issue comes up when I go to test it in VCDS.I tried reinstalling VCDS,drivers no difference. In device manager, when I open properties,it says driver works as it should,no issues.Even tried that VCP as described on Ross-Tech website but still same happens when I try to test it. I don't know what you have but it is not a genuine Ross-Tech dongle interface. That is not a Ross-Tech HEX or KEY style dongle interface. XP and Vista drivers will not work with Win 7. So I thought at first that was weird that I had to go through test at all but then I updated to 19.6 but no change. In device manager when I plug The cable,it was showing “serial interface”,no mention of Ross-Tech or nothing.Went through manual updating of the driver and now it changed to Ross-Tech Hex-. You need to go to wire manufacturer and get the Win 7 drivers for his wire. I’ve been using my VCDS for a while and I never ran into issue like this.I have windows 7 and 2 days ago I used VCDS no problem (it notified me that there is newer version but I wasn’t at home and didn’t have time to update).Today I wanted to use it on the same vehicle, when I opened VCDS it made me go to Options-Test with result USB interface not found.USB library 03.02.07.Interface not found
